‘Urban Canopy’ explores the vital and often complex relationship between trees and our urban landscape. This collection brings together works that illuminate the presence, struggle, resilience, and symbolic power of trees within our urban fabric.

In our rapidly heating world, the role of trees is more critical than ever. We find ourselves in a paradoxical situation: constantly developing our urban spaces, yet increasingly reliant on trees to cool our urbanscapes.

We invited artists to explore this balance, to spark conversations and offer fresh perspectives. This group show features the work of incredible Irish-based artists: Iryna Chernieva, Angela Fewer, Jacqueline Gartland, David Kavanagh, John Kennedy, Dave Madigan, Tetiana Milshyna, and Ellen O'Connor.
