We believe the discovery and enjoyment of art should be a personal and meaningful experience for everyone. We are passionate about connecting people with incredible art from hugely talented, emerging and established Irish artists.‍

Our story

Meet the curator: Máire de Leastar

Growing up in an artistic household, my father, an artist, regularly lined the walls with new paintings. Sculptures adorned available corners. I was immersed in art before I even knew what an art gallery was. This early passion was reignited during a year at the Cill Rialaig Arts Centre, where my love for curatorial work really began.

My time spent working at the renowned Butler Gallery broadened my experiences in the art world. Following this, my time curating exhibitions at The Narrow Space Gallery solidified a lifelong dream: to open my own gallery. I am excited to embark on this new chapter with linn gallery.

We believe that taking a moment for yourself can be a powerful thing. Our goal for linn gallery is to be more than a place to buy art, it's a place to step away from the rush of our busy lives. Our intimate space is a truly relaxed environment for a personal experience with art.

Nestled in the heart of Clonmel, a stone's throw from the historic Main Guard, linn gallery is located on the 1st floor of the beautiful gift and craft shop of The Narrow Space. Building on an impressive 22-year legacy, linn gallery is the exciting new chapter for The Narrow Space Gallery, bringing a fresh vision and carrying on the tradition of bringing exceptional art to Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
