Welcome to a celebration of the Tipperary landscape, captured live and on location.

Over a single, intensive weekend (4th & 5th July), artists took to the streets and environs of Clonmel, the scenic banks of the River Suir, and surrounding heritage sites. Working strictly from direct observation en plein air (in the open air), they contended with shifting light and the unpredictable elements of the Irish summer to capture the living spirit of our region.

This exhibition brings those fresh outdoor responses directly onto our walls. By documenting familiar vistas and local landmarks in real-time, these works create a vital dialogue between the artist, the public, and the places we call home.

Featuring competition entries and official festival prize-winners, this collection honours both the rigorous discipline of painting on location and the enduring beauty of our local landscape.
