Eugene was born in Cork and now lives and has a studio on Slievenamon in Co. Tipperary. He has a special affinity with Italy and has painted many works on Venice.

“Landscape painting is often defined by the so-called horizon line. Its placing can determine the sense of space, the perspective, even the mood of a painting. I had this in mind, experimenting with the concept of 'skylines' for this exhibition.”
